STARSKY + COX first began presenting their “Cosmic Cabaret” at Elmo in New York in 2005, regaling audiences with head-spinning tales of their shared exploits growing up mystic in a seemingly mundane world, singing signature songs that are at turns, loungey, funky, funny and punky, and hosting a roster of touted performers. In 2007, Starsky + Cox performed their holiday show “Over The Hill and Everywhere” at Ars Nova in Manhattan, and another, “Troll the Ancient Yule”, in 2008, Off-Broadway, at The Zipper Factory. Most recently, Starsky + Cox took the stage at Joe’s Pub at The Public Theater, with a new show, Two Hearts Bleed As One. In a typically action-packed ninety-minute show, Starsky + Cox recount their extraordinary life and love story as it relates, weirdly accurately, to the “ever-unfolding lotus” that is the zodiac, their pre-eminent domain.
