Arguably the most famous nymph was Io who was turned into a snow-white heifer, for sexually giving into king god Zeus/Jupiter, by his queen goddess Hera/Juno, herself referred to as “cow-eyed”. As in most Hera myths, vanity and envy play a part; and it’s a Taurus female pitfall, a tale retold as the fairy one, Snow White. Like that queen turning herself into a wise old apple-toting crone, Hera was always doing that. A theme in Taurus woman’s own saga is wising up to the fact that she can, like Io or Eve, wreak havoc on other women’s lives by virtue of the fact she can be so cluelessly alluring and accepting of attention, her trademark innocence leading to one place: temptation, and that her actions can fly in the face of feminist solidarity. Makes sense: Pisces is the mutable-water sign, which connotes a primordial soup from whence all comes and to which all must return. It’s time to recreate, in every sense of the word. Mars grand-trining Venus-Jupiter and Pluto turns grand delusions into reality.
